Harmonize Kidz is amazing and the impact it's had on our students is profound. The songs and lessons engage the teachers and their students in the most dynamic way. It's everything SEL [social emotional learning] is supposed to be...plus, plus!

First grade had the pleasure of working with Harmonize Kidz. Teachers and students were taught meaningful and engaging songs to develop character, values, self-awareness and respect for all. The content of the songs is so important to the development of kindness and empathy. While gaining such skills, we all enjoyed the music, the movements and activities immensely.

The lessons in Harmonize Kidz are meaningful, enriching, and incredibly fun, and allow the children to express themselves through many different mediums. They sing, learn sign language, create art works and so much more, all around the themes of kindness, diversity, feelings and community.

I can't say enough good things about this as a teacher. My fellow kindergarten teachers and I love that we can always refer back to the songs and sign language when tricky situations arise between our students.

It was delightful to see how you engaged the children by using your musical gifts to teach and talk about feelings and coping strategies. A true social worker's dream!!! Your work is so crucial to this age group as social-emotional learning is the most important skill set for our little ones.

Witnessing first-hand the clinic on empathy that Harmonize Kidz and the first graders put on at the final concert was special. I think music as a teaching tool can be powerful and this program provides strong evidence.

I had the chance to happen upon a session with Harmonize Kidz and the students when I visited one of our elementary schools. No one knew I was there, and it was absolutely magical to watch the learning, fun, and music all happening at once. Watching our students so beautifully manage their materials, sitting together, learning and showing their words, feelings, and sign language, with fun and lively melodies to boot - was exactly what learning should look like.
